I love the team that I work with, as well as the variety of the work I get to do in my current role. Working for an academic medical center has the added benefit of purposeful work where you get to do something for the good of the community and patients. MUSC also has great job security and benefits.
I would have to say the people! MUSC provides a family feel to the environment. I always tell people that we really are a big family because we laugh and cry together. I really do love coming to work every day because of the people and the care we provide. As an academic center and a Level 1 trauma center, we are on the cutting edge of everything. It truly is amazing.
