Job Description Summary

Utilize all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures.



Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. One year of experience as a radiological technologist is required, previous experience in CT is preferred. CT certification must be obtained prior to hire.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology Work Experience: 0-2 years of radiologic experience. Required License Certification and Registration: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and (CT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
