DI04 - Spend Management Director - Workday Sustainment

Reporting to Executive Director, the Spend Management Director is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Lead all aspects of the Workday Spend Management process, governance, configuration, security, data conversion, integrations, and reporting
  • Ensure implemented technology meets the strategic, transactional, reporting, and analytical needs of the organization
  • Partner with senior internal stakeholders to understand strategy and technology needs to help shape the decision-making process
  • Ensure Spend Management solutions help streamline operations and provide clear insight into overall spend
  • Demonstrate and maintain domain expertise in the Spend Management product area
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Spend Management team to solve system problems and champion a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Establish/Maintain robust governance of Workday Spend Management to ensure high data quality and configuration
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve the employee experience, reduce risk and costs, and improve compliance and controls
  • Stay abreast of external trends and new suppliers to advise/consult with HR partners to deliver on their strategy and inform the technology roadmap
  • Collaborate effectively with other organizational leaders as a strategic partner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field OR equivalent working experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in the HR technology space with proven capabilities in leading Spend Management solutions design, configuration, and administration experience
  • Experience as a senior leader with sustained high levels of employee engagement
  • Proven ability to drive transformational change in a large environment
  • Demonstrated domain/industry thought leadership in the Financial landscape
