Reporting to Executive Director, the Spend Management Director is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Lead all aspects of the Workday Spend Management process, governance, configuration, security, data conversion, integrations, and reporting
Ensure implemented technology meets the strategic, transactional, reporting, and analytical needs of the organization
Partner with senior internal stakeholders to understand strategy and technology needs to help shape the decision-making process
Ensure Spend Management solutions help streamline operations and provide clear insight into overall spend
Demonstrate and maintain domain expertise in the Spend Management product area
Provide leadership and guidance to the Spend Management team to solve system problems and champion a culture of continuous process improvement
Establish/Maintain robust governance of Workday Spend Management to ensure high data quality and configuration
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve the employee experience, reduce risk and costs, and improve compliance and controls
Stay abreast of external trends and new suppliers to advise/consult with HR partners to deliver on their strategy and inform the technology roadmap
Collaborate effectively with other organizational leaders as a strategic partner
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field OR equivalent working experience
8+ years’ experience in the HR technology space with proven capabilities in leading Spend Management solutions design, configuration, and administration experience
Experience as a senior leader with sustained high levels of employee engagement
Proven ability to drive transformational change in a large environment
Demonstrated domain/industry thought leadership in the Financial landscape
