Job Summary/Purpose:  The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and conducting activities (group and Individualized) in accordance with current Federal, State and local standard guidelines and regulations. Adheres to Mullins Nursing Center CHS policy and procedures. Assures ongoing program of activities which are designed to meet the needs and interest of the individual resident.

Minimum Training and Education:  Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Is a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional by a recognized accrediting body on or after Oct. 1, 1990.
Or has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in the last 5 years.
Or has completed a training course approved by the state.
Or is an occupational Therapist or assistant.
