The Kronos, Time Tracking & Absence Analyst plays a significant role in ensuring the maximum value of MUSC Workday solution and user experience. Specifically, the primary objective for this role is to utilize knowledge and best practices to deliver solutions aligned with MUSC mission, core values and culture.  

Responsibilities

Reporting to Kronos, Time Tracking & Absence Manager, the Kronos, Time Tracking & Absence Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution
• Collaborate with Integrations and Security regrading Workday and Kronos for testing
• Responsible for the on-going analysis, design, and set-up of Workday Absence & Time Tracking and Kronos
• Respond to escalations for critical functional issue resolution
• Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
• Analyze data or facts and summarize and present findings in a compelling way
• Effectively instill trust and build consensus around business processes and design
• Facilitate working sessions, including gathering requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing and implementing business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Document changes and updates within Workday and Kronos for effective change management and training needs
• Create detailed functional and technical design documents including test plans, cases, and user training documents
• Provide thought leadership on potential enhancements, methodologies to improve overall experience
• Partner with internal stakeholders, like Total Rewards and Payroll, to ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent work experience
• An understanding of implementing Absence or Time Tracking (both preferred) in Workday
• Experience working with and demonstrated knowledge of Kronos preferred
• Strong desire to learn and jump in feet first
• Demonstrated knowledge of leaves, including FLMA, STD, LTD and Military Leaves

• Project management and process development experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to understand requirements and mitigate risks
