Job Description Summary
To perform high-quality mammography images by the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards for interpretation by a physician. Requires sound understanding of anatomical position, radiographic technique, and ACR/MQSA regulatory guidelines. Must be able to act with initiative and ingenuity, autonomously perform keen technical positioning, maintain detailed quality control records for DHEC/MQSA inspection, schedule equipment maintenance, collaborate with departments to ensure health and safety compliance, decrease equipment downtime, and interact and communicate effectively with team and diverse patient populations in the community to reduce barriers and improve health literacy.Entity

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of independent mammography experienceCurrent registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in mammography. Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
