The Morgue Attendant serves as mortuary services attendant for the hospital. Removes deceased patients from treatment locations. Responds to requests from coroners and funeral directors in regards to delivery and pick up of the deceased. Assists with appropriate documentation and required notifications

Additional Job Description

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some mortuary services (embalming, etc.) Experience preferred, but not required. On-the-job training acceptable; no special school available for this position. Knowledge of medical terminology.
