MUSC Health – Kershaw Medical Center is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Orthopedic Hospitalist program. As an Orthopedic Hospitalist APP, you will play a vital role in the management of orthopedic patients across the continuum of care, supporting surgical services, inpatient rounding, consults, admissions, discharges, and perioperative coordination. Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Orthopedic, surgical, hospital medicine, or acute care experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills

• Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care

Position Highlights:

• Manage orthopedic inpatients in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and hospital teams

• Conduct daily rounding, patient evaluations, admissions, consultations, and discharges

• Assist with perioperative care coordination and postoperative management

• Support orthopedic surgical workflows and continuity of care across inpatient services

• Participate in patient and family education to optimize recovery and outcomes

• Collaborate closely with nursing, rehabilitation, case management, and ancillary teams

• Contribute to a culture centered on teamwork, efficiency, and patient-centered care
