Join our team at MUSC Health Orangeburg as we seek an Orthopedic Sports Medicine focused physician to deliver exceptional care in our vibrant community. At MUSC Health Orangeburg, you will work aligned with a dynamic 286-bed facility within a robust regional health care system, anchoring the northern region of the MUSC Health Charleston Division whose flagship Academic Medical Center is situated just 75 miles South of Orangeburg.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
• Subspecialty Certificate in Sports Medicine is desired, but not required
• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina

 

Position Highlights:

• Surgical with Sports Medicine opportunities
• Deliver sideline and event coverage for athletic competitions
• Provide medical care for athletes on and off the field for local college and high schools
• Full-time outpatient practice opportunity with inpatient rounding and ED consults
• Well-respected, established orthopedics program with 3 orthopedic surgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
• Block time in OR
• Equitable call within practice
• Inpt/Outpt accredited rehabilitation services

• Dedicated marketing and outreach to support your success
• Clinic is located within the hospital.
• Providers can live outside Orangeburg and commute from vibrant communities like Columbia (40 miles) or Charleston (75 miles).  The medical center is just off I-26 making commuting easy.

Since it was first established in 1919, MUSC Health - Orangeburg has grown from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system. MUSC Health – Orangeburg’s network now includes a 286-bed acute care hospital in Orangeburg, a breast center with mobile mammography capabilities, Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center, Express Care locations in Orangeburg and Santee, seven primary care clinics, and fifteen specialty practices located throughout Orangeburg, Bamberg and Calhoun counties.
