Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-8:00pm, Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm. Schedule flexibility to maintain client appointments, including evening and weekend hours to accommodate working professionals. This position also offers a hybrid schedule with split time between the office and remote.

Job Summary/Purpose: Modern Minds is seeking a motivated, passionate, and highly qualified South Carolina licensed (or licensed-eligible) Clinical Psychologist to join our 15-person multidisciplinary team, and become an integral member of our mental health clinic. This position is a full-time, on-site position, to provide comprehensive, integrated, and specialized clinical care to our clients. The psychologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and participate in clinical and administrative meetings and trainings, and will report to the Chief Psychology Officer. This position will receive weekly supervision to augment clinical care as well as for personal growth in role as psychologist.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD is psychology required
Currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
5+ years of experience in the mental health field
Preferred Experience:
Experience in, or trained in, evidence-based treatment, data-driven program development and evaluation, and modern psychological assessment methods
Previous experience in supporting psychotropic medication management as prescribed by medical providers and working closely with psychiatrists, focusing on treatment adherence, side effects, and effectiveness of treatment.
Experience with and openness to collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team and maintaining fluid communication with clinical and non-clinical staff
The successful candidate will be open to or have experience in mindfulness and non-traditional yet evidence-supported practices that improve overall health and wellness (e.g., yoga, exercise, nutrition)
The successful candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to pioneer innovative programming to treat anxiety and depression
For psychologists with research responsibilities, candidate must have:
Extensive experience with data capture and ability to secure extramural finding
Ability to perform outcomes research and program evaluation research
Ability to work SAS, SPSS, R or other statistical packages
Evidence of publication and presentation record
Job duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting intake diagnostics for clients
Leading and delivering individual, group, and family therapy, and maintain full caseload of 22 individual clients on weekly basis
Working with clients to produce and enact effective treatment plans
Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Performing periodic evaluations to keep clients on track with their treatment and benchmarking their progress
Participate in weekly individual supervision and group case consultation to implement best practices and promote professional growth.
Working with Wellness Mentors and specialty-support providers to ensure clients experience a smooth transition into other treatment modalities
As appropriate, this individual will mentor and supervise clinical interns and other trainees, which is critical to maintaining the productivity of our clinic
Physical Requirements: Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors. Frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing 20 lbs (+/-) unassisted. Lift from 36” to overhead 15 lbs. Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.
