About MUSC Health - Orangeburg Medical Center
Founded in 1919 as a private hospital, MUSC Health – Orangeburg Medical Center has grown into a full-service regional health care system, serving patients across Orangeburg, Calhoun, and Bamberg counties. Today, the system includes a 286-bed acute care hospital, 22 medical practices, 89 providers, more than 1,400 employees, and 25 dedicated volunteers.
Its network includes seven primary care practices, express care locations in Orangeburg and Santee, and the Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center. Specialty care services include cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, urology, behavioral health, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and orthopedics.
