Job Description Summary

The role involves end-to-end coordination of over 10 recurring executive-level governance meetings, managing cross-functional projects, and serving as the department’s program coordinator for all operational activities, HR/payroll liaison work, and process optimization. Working with a high level of independence, this position supports leaders with strategic plans, ensures seamless meeting execution, and drives measurable outcomes that align with MUSC’s Population Health strategic goals.

Job Description

The role involves end-to-end coordination of over 10 recurring executive-level governance meetings, managing cross-functional projects, and serving as the department’s program coordinator for all operational activities, HR/payroll liaison work, and process optimization. Working with a high level of independence, this position supports leaders with strategic plans, ensures seamless meeting execution, and drives measurable outcomes that align with MUSC’s Population Health strategic goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in project or program coordination, including at least three (3) years supporting executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience producing meeting minutes, action logs, and executive‑level communications.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), MBA, MPH, or related discipline.
  • Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
  • Familiarity with enterprise HR/payroll systems (e.g., OurDay, Axiom) and financial tracking.
