Job Description Summary
The (DDC) Digestive Disease Center RN Specialty Coordinator reports to the (DDC) Front End Operations Manager and is a professional registered nurse with proficient Digestive Health clinical knowledge who offers individualized assistance to patients and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN Coordinator promotes informed decision-making and timely access to quality patient care through referral review and care coordination while providing a vital link in communication between patients and multidisciplinary providers.Entity

Job Description
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of two years of nursing experience. Current South Carolina licensure as a registered nurse. Current certification in Basic Life Support. New employees are required to obtain and maintain BLS certification within the completion of general orientation. Other certifications may be required to maintain employment for a respective department.
Additional Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years related clinical nursing work experience required. Licensure a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state required. Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) preferred.
