Spend Management/Procurement Analyst - Ourday Sustainment team

The Spend Management/Procurement Analyst plays a significant role in ensuring the maximum value of the MUSC Workday solution. Specifically, the primary objective for this role is to utilize expert knowledge and best practices to deliver solutions aligned with MUSC mission, core values and culture.  

Responsibilities

Reporting to Spend Management/Procurement Manager, the Spend Management/Procurement Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Support and lead continued set-up of business processes, workflows, security roles and user roles related to Spend Management
  • Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Oversee sourcing functions including units of measure, purchase items, requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts
  • Complete internal catalog data entry functions including loading and maintaining internal catalogs
  • Collaborate with the Report Writer to develop reports and help provide training on reporting capabilities
  • Effectively instill trust and build consensus around business processes and design related to Spend Management and Procurement
  • Document changes and updates within Workday for effective change management and training needs
  • Create detailed functional and technical design documents including test plans, cases, and user training documents
  • Provide thought leadership on potential enhancements, methodologies to improve overall experience
  • Partner with HR and TECH to ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR equivalent working experience
  • Experience or strong desire to learn Spend Management and Procurement
  • Microsoft Office proficient
