Autonomously performs complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures to ensure comprehensive and diagnostic accuracy in a professional manner. Utilizes advanced knowledge in the setting of outpatients and inpatients, including portable and O.R. examinations, by producing, assessing and evaluating ultrasound images and related data. This role requires organization, time management and prioritization of patient exams to contribute to effective teamwork.

Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Two to three years’ experience in performing ultrasound diagnostic procedures preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
