Job Summary: The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Licensed Psychologist for a clinician-educator faculty position in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division. The candidate will be involved with clinical services in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Clinical responsibilities:
Supervision of doctoral trainees in the Charleston Consortium Psychology Internship Program.
Providing outpatient psychotherapy in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient clinic.
Research responsibilities:
Candidate is encouraged to seek out and continue collaboration with any Departmental Research teams to expand their development and expand their research interests.
Teaching/Mentoring:
Participate in C&A fellows didactic series, case conferences, and educational committees.
FLSA: Salaried
Minimum Requirements: Must hold a M.D., Ph.D., or related terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications: Postdoctoral fellowship in a relevant specialty area. Prior experience providing psychological services in a medical center, hospital, or other academic health setting. Experience supervising and/or teaching psychology trainees, medical students, or residents. Familiarity with measurement-based care and use of electronic health records. Record of scholarly activity (e.g., publications, presentations, or grant involvement).
