Job Description Summary
The GME Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for tracking and monitoring a variety of accreditation and program processes, assisting with program development, monitoring, and providing support for GME committees and subcommittees. This position will work closely with GME staff, GME leadership and program coordinators and directors. They will understand ACGME, CODA, and/or other regulatory bodies requirements for institutional, core and specialty requirements.Entity

Job Description
35% E - Program Accreditation Coordinator. This includes annual GME program activities such as ACGME survey completion, Annual Program Evaluations (APE)s, Accreditation Data System (ADS) submissions, non-ACGME program evaluations, NST updates, tracking of submission deadlines. Remain current with accreditation requirement standards and communicate changes to GME leaders and support staff.
30% E- Data Analysis. Review program outcomes including survey results, accreditations status, site visit outcomes, and work hours reports and other data. Consider potential accreditation issues and forecast upcoming programmatic changes. Consult with GME Accreditation Manager and applicable programs regarding opportunities for improving documentation and develop dynamic methods for tracking of data.
15% E- GME Office Collaboration & Ongoing Education. Collaborate with GME staff at all levels and with all residency and fellowship programs. Assists with the planning and support of special GME projects and events, such as New Resident and Fellow Orientation, Residency-wide events. Consider professional development opportunities such as webinars provided by ACGME, AHME, AAMC or other organizations. Attending external annual conferences as needed (out-of-state travel occasional). Provides continuous innovation as relates to job duties.
15% E- Committee Participation. Prepare materials for the GMEC, PC, and Chief Resident and other GME subcommittee meetings. Follow-up on action items. Coordinate with the Accreditation Manager and Coordinators regarding roles and responsibilities. Communicates with committee members to ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation for meetings, responds to inquiries, troubleshoots issues related to accessing information, and identifies missing information/documentation.
5% E - Other responsibilities. As directed by the Accreditation Manager in support of the work of accreditation.
