The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology invites applications for faculty positions at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels with research expertise in cancer cell and molecular biology. Candidates with a research focus on lipid metabolism/signaling are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
· Applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in Science.
Preferred Experience:
1. The successful candidate will independently carry out the research projects and efficiently and productively conduct complex experiments.
2. Ability to independently plan and perform the research projects without supervision.
3. Demonstrated skills in cellular, molecular, and biochemical techniques.
4. Ability to evaluate the experimental results and troubleshoot problems.
5. Ability to analyze the experimental data and write manuscripts for publication.
6. Ability to maintain an up-to-date, organized, and legible lab notebook that records all experiments and tests in detail.
7. Ability to train new postdoctoral fellows, technicians, and graduate students.
