Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible – The Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively recruiting for a General Psychiatrist to provide services in our ED department.
We are seeking candidates with:
Motivation and desire to work with an excellent multidisciplinary psychiatric care team
Training from an accredited Psychiatry Program
Board Certification / Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
8-hour shifts working with a full multidisciplinary team
Coverage in the Adult Intensive Day Treatment Program
Attending physician duties with the Psychiatric team embedded in the area of the ED dedicated to behavioral health patients; duties here include: consults, managing boarding patients and residents, and APP supervision
Call/Rounds – one weekend per month
