Job Description
The Department of Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is currently seeking a board certified/eligible Surgical oncologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Candidates must have completed SSO approved surgical oncology fellowship training. The physician will be joining the Division of Oncologic and Endocrine Surgery, which has a multiple well-established multidisciplinary program all linked to the NCI-designated Hollings Cancer Center.
The optimal candidate will have a focus on melanoma/ sarcoma/HIPEC and gastric cancer. This is an academic position with responsibilities for discovery and teaching.
This position will be primarily located in Charleston, South Carolina.
