Job summary:

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining program policies and driving compliance through appropriate program training, reporting and controls. Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Customer Service, the PCard and Travel Services Manager also assists in managing relationships with related third-party suppliers and has technology/application ownership responsibilities. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset, staying abreast of related State of South Carolina regulations, the latest product offerings, payment solutions, and industry best practices.

  • Leads the University’s PCard Program and MUSC’s enterprise-wide Travel Program.
  • Works independently with minimal/limited supervision.
  • Related to University PCard Program: oversees Program and administers policies and end-to-end processes in alignment with the State of SC Purchasing Card Program. Engages with department PCard administrators, liaisons, and approvers.
  • Related to MUSC enterprise Travel Program: with leadership support, directs and manages program design, policy and procedure development, implementation, and daily administrative activities.
  • Responsible for guiding direction of both Programs through development of business cases and making informed recommendations to influence leadership.
  • Creates strong cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders and users, collaborating with Procurement, Information Systems, Accounts Payable and other MUSC resources as needed.
  • Acts as business owner for the programs’ third-party suppliers and services.
  • Partners closely with Manager, Procurement Customer Service and University Procurement Director, and MUSC Travel to achieve alignment and cohesiveness across the PCard and Travel programs.
  • Represents team and participates in University-wide initiatives as needed
  • Develops clear, concise, and relevant program and related training topics to stakeholders at all levels
  • Oversees support for the PCard and Travel programs as part of the Customer Service team.
  • Effectively prioritizes workflow and tasks, collaborating when necessary, to drive projects through to completion while maintaining SLAs and day-to-day program requirements

 


Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 6: $43,030.00 - $61,323.00 - $79,616.00 (min - mid - max)


FLSA: Salaried


Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree and two years relevant program experience.
