Job Description

The Workday Illuminate Lead leads the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions with a strong focus on AI-driven innovation, intelligent automation, and cross-functional enablement. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, driving the adoption of Workday’s emerging capabilities—including Extend, Studio, and Illuminate—to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with enterprise goals.

  • Proven leadership in Workday Extend, Studio, EIBs, and custom integration development, including mentoring junior analysts or developers.

  • Strategic understanding of Workday’s AI roadmap, intelligent agents, and automation capabilities, with the ability to translate emerging features into business value.

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts, agent builders, and low-code/no-code platforms, with a focus on scalable automation and intelligent workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and thought leadership in emerging technologies, with the ability to influence digital transformation initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across HR, IT, and business functions to drive strategic outcomes.

  • Comfortable leading teams in agile or iterative development environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus. 5+ years of progressive Workday experience, with deep expertise in configuration, support, and solution design across multiple modules.
