Job Description Summary

Processes accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. Records and posts payments received and makes payments for vendor invoices and other debts owed by the organization. Verifies amounts owed and received and ensures that transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable and receivable ledger accounts. Prepares reports of delinquent accounts and responds to customer/vendor inquiries.

Additional Job Description

1 – 3 years’ experience in a high volume accounts receivable / payable environment, shared services center.  Prefer 3 + years.

Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree.  

Prefer Bachelor’s Degree or candidate for upcoming Bachelor’s degree. 
May substitute 3 years’ experience in lieu of the degree requirements.
