Job Description

A certified nursing assistant (CNA), or patient care technician (PCT), helps patients with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). CNA/PCTs are also commonly referred to as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant (PCA), or a Nurse’s Aide.

Additional Job Description

Education: High School Degree or GED Required

Licenses/Certificates: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must be current in the Nurse Aide Registry. Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIHSS certification.
