Job Description
Assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
Experience with sterile compounding preferred. Responsibilities will include sterile and non-sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medications, per USP 795 and 797 standards, inventory management. Successful candidates will be motivated and possess excellent communication and time management skills.
