Job Description Summary

The Executive Search Sourcing Strategist at MUSC Health plays a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and maintaining a pipeline of top executive talent. This position supports the overall mission of MUSC Health, working closely with the Executive Search team to ensure that the organization is equipped with the leadership necessary to drive our healthcare initiatives.
This role will be responsible for proactive outreach to active and passive candidates, marketing opportunities at MUSC and connecting them with opportunities for follow up and consideration. This role will assist with building an executive candidate pipeline for the timely recruitment and consideration of new executives with consideration for both internal and external talent. Working closely with the Executive Search Consultants and Practice Director, the incumbent will to provide input and real-time feedback on sourcing strategy effectiveness.

Job Description

The Executive Search Sourcing Strategist will work diligently to seek new and forward-thinking opportunities to improve and increase talent attraction and reach for critical MUSC Health roles. They will also be expected to assist with the development of social medial/CRM platforms to enable ongoing relationship management and recall of candidates based on skills, experiences, and needs of the organization as well as working closely with the practice leader to develop an internal web-based landing page for MUSC Executive Search.

Sourcing Strategy Development 40%:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Search Consultants and Practice Director to develop effective sourcing strategies and understand the specific requirements and expectations for executive roles.
  • Proactively seek new and innovative opportunities to enhance talent attraction and reach for critical roles.
  • Implement candidate sourcing methodologies to pipeline future executive talent at MUSC Health.
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential executive candidates through various channels, including networking, social media, industry news, and referrals.
  • Conduct preliminary screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit with MUSC Health.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified executive talent to meet the organization's current and future leadership needs.
  • Work closely with Executive Search Consultants to build and nurture relationships with executives and potential candidates.
  • Demonstrate a strong emphasis on relationship management and customer focus.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and ensure a high level of responsiveness throughout the executive search process.

Executive Search Social Media Presence and CRM Development 40%:

  • Design, develop, and manage a dedicated Executive Search landing page on the MUSC Health website to showcase the organization's leadership opportunities and attract top executive talent.
  • Ensure the landing page is user-friendly, visually appealing, and regularly updated with current job openings, organizational news, and relevant content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to optimize the landing page for search engines (SEO) and enhance its visibility to potential candidates.
  • Monitor the performance of the landing page through analytics tools, adjusting as necessary to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive CRM platform to track candidate interactions, maintain candidate profiles, and document recruitment activities.
  • Ensure the CRM platform is up-to-date with accurate and relevant candidate information, including contact details, resumes, interview notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to keep pipelined candidates informed about MUSC Health's opportunities and organizational developments.
  • Analyze data from the CRM to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment processes.
  • Develop a MUSC Executive Search landing page as part of the MUSC website in partnership with MUSC Marketing & Communications.

Executive Search Marketing Materials 20%:

  • Partner closely with the Executive Search Consultants to develop Leadership Profiles for each executive search engagement used to market the role to perspective candidates.
  • Utilize job boards such as Linked In, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc, to ensure jobs are posted and receive maximum coverage
  • Research professional associations with clinical/operational overlap and post roles accordingly.
  • This role requires strong task management and coordination between multiple stakeholders. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is a hybrid role with a touch down space at MUSC and the candidate must have availability to work from MUSC executive offices often on short notice during regular office hours. There is flexibility for remote work during times when in person attendance is optional. The ideal candidate will be local to the Charleston SC metropolitan area. There is no relocation provided for this role.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or Healthcare Administration or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in executive search candidate sourcing, networking with healthcare executives, and marketing roles to perspective candidates.
  • MHA/MBA/Masters Preferred
  • Experience with common sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, Indeed, Zoom Info) is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Experience in Workday is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare executive recruitment is a plus.
