MUSC Health – Orangeburg is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at a rural primary care clinic. This role is ideal for a compassionate and community-oriented medical professional who is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse population in a rural setting.

About the opportunity:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care management.
• Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Develop and manage effective treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases prevalent in rural areas.
• Offer guidance on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Since it was first established in 1919, MUSC Health - Orangeburg has grown from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system. MUSC Health – Orangeburg’s network now includes a 286-bed acute care hospital in Orangeburg, a breast center with mobile mammography capabilities, Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center, Express Care locations in Orangeburg and Santee, seven primary care clinics, and fifteen specialty practices located throughout Orangeburg, Bamberg and Calhoun counties. Specialty services offered include cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, urology, behavioral health, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, orthopaedics, vein and vascular services, and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy.
