Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with invasive and noninvasive imaging procedures. The registered nurse assumes responsibility for patients while in the department and provides care to these patients, as needed via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Education:

• Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
• Critical Care Course or certification in critical care preferred but not required

Experience: 

• Previous experience preferred
• Critical Care Experience required

Licenses/Certificates:

• License to practice in SC or Compact Licensure Agreement
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification.
