The Manager of Environment of Care (EOC) & Care Team Safety reports to the Chief Quality Officer, MUSC Health-Charleston. Under limited supervision, the Manager is responsible for the operations and strategic direction of MUSC Health Charleston in regards to the EOC and safety of the care team.Entity

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a healthcare field or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of five (5) years management-leadership experience in a healthcare field, specific to clinical operations and performance improvement, required. Experience specifically in EOC preferred. A clinical background and experience in an academic health system also preferred. Extensive knowledge of Joint Commission (JC), Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) programs, inspections, process standards and regulations is required. Knowledge of NFPA 101 Life Safety code. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communicate effectively (orally and in writing).
