Job Summary/Purpose:

Modern Minds is seeking a Wellness Navigator to join our multidisciplinary team and become an integral member of our mind-first wellness clinic. Our team is dynamic, highly collaborative, forward thinking, and fully committed to promoting and sustaining whole-person wellbeing.

Modern Minds Wellness Navigators work primarily in a coaching capacity to provide guidance to clients as they develop and integrate new wellness practices into their life. Wellness Navigators work primarily with clients who are engaged in Modern Minds’ Immersion Program (16 week therapy program) and as such, work hand in hand with clients’ therapists. Clients are typically seen in brief (20-30 minute) meetings that occur directly before or after their therapy sessions. Wellness Navigators help clients accelerate and sustain improvements in their emotional health by focusing on shifts to help strengthen the client’s wellness foundation.

The ideal Wellness Navigator candidate has 3-5 years experience helping individuals and/or groups to establish healthy, holistic lifestyle habits spanning the areas of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. Areas may include, but not be limited to: fitness, nutrition, mental wellbeing, mobility, sleep, social connectedness, stress management and more.

Modern Minds Wellness Navigators must be ready to partner with licensed therapists to deliver holistic, mind-body wellness programming and solutions together.  For this reason, a certification in integrative health and nutrition or health, lifestyle and/or wellness coaching is strongly preferred.  Formerly licensed social workers as well as certified yoga instructors, personal trainers, dieticians and/or those that hold a combination of certifications in wellness-related modalities, are also encouraged to apply.

This position will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience. This is a full time, on-site position for which candidates must have the ability to maintain flexible hours regularly including evenings and weekends to accommodate working professional clients.
