The Coordinator for Organizational Excellence reports to the Leadership Excellence System Manager. Under limited supervision, the Coordinator for Organizational Excellence works with the employee engagement team, MUSC Health leaders, and subject matter experts to coordinate and support system-wide leadership and organizational development courses, sessions, and events.Entity

Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1.1. In partnership with the Program Manager and team, the Organizational Excellence Coordinator will coordinate, support, and co-facilitate leadership development course offerings and programs collaborating with subject matter experts and leaders. Weight 35%
Success Criteria
• Assist in coordinating and supporting leadership and team development courses and sessions and co-facilitate when needed.
• Coordinate and support leadership development programs (nursing leadership, RHN leadership, medical directors’ leadership program, Our Community Listens, other leadership development courses/sessions)
• Coordinate with external partners as needed to deliver leader and team development content including the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities
• Manage the catalog of leadership development opportunities and curricula
• Provide support for leadership excellence calendars, schedules, and shared inboxes
• Maintain accurate data/reporting related to enrollments, metrics, and tracking.
1.2 Provide support and coordination for quarterly Leadership Development Institutes (LDIs). Weight 20%
Success Criteria
· Assist with coordination, communication, and logistical support
· Provide and prepare materials for the event
· Coordinate and prepare invoices and other expenses for LDI
1.3 Collect, organize, and maintain organizational data, leader input/feedback, and best practice opportunities to help assess leadership development needs and opportunities Weight 15%
Success Criteria
· Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and procure the appropriate organizational/leader data for the purpose of guiding leadership development
· Maintain and gather feedback for organizational development metrics
· Conduct and maintain leadership development assessments, and make suggestions for ongoing programs
1.4 Coordinate and support New Leader Development programming and Excellence tools for leaders. Weight 20%
Success Criteria
· Integrate tools and resources, including OurDay, into new leader development trainings and offerings
· Coordinate logistics and communication for Navigating Excellence: New Leader Development
· Maintain accurate data/reporting related to enrollments, metrics, and tracking
· Maintain updated resources for Excellence and other leader tools and resources
1.5 Serve as a trainer for organizational development needs and coordinate succession planning. Act as the key contact for additional organizational needs, trainings, and programming. Weight 10%
Success Criteria
· Serve as key contact for succession planning projects
· Train leaders and other stakeholders as needed for new initiatives, workforce education/development needs.
· Collaborate/assist as needed for future organizational growth and needs.
Additional Job Description
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, Communication, or a related field. Preferred experience with leadership development program administration and/or curriculum development and instruction. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and positive, service-oriented behaviors are required in this role. Healthcare industry experience required.
