Position Purpose

The pharmacist will provide drug information/education to patients, medical and hospital staff, as required. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, Advanced Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD or MS) preferred.
Experience: Minimum one year experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Current Licensure as Registered Pharmacist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in a clean, ventilated, well lighted, heated/air conditioned building.

May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. May be in contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances. Able to handle emergency or crisis situations. May be occasionally subject to irregular hours. May be required to wear protective equipment as necessary.
