Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Document management
- All outbound medical records and immunization lists
- Incoming Medical records- associating with patient charts and assigning to appropriate staff members.
- Fax inbox- attaching documents to patients charts and assigning to appropriate staff members
- Ensuring proper document association for all patient charts including but not limited to all labs, x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. for system reporting to ensure all PCMH/HEDIS requirement reporting is accurate. - - Assigning documents to appropriate staff members for administrative purposes.
Quality Control
- Completing report-based tasks- including but not limited to, reports generated to ensure all patients are currently up to date with appointments.
- Referral follow-up- working system generated lists to ensure appointments were made and notes received. Assisting with referral document association and completing system requirement to ensure all PCMH/HEDIS requirement reporting is accurate.
- Performs or assists with clerical duties as needed. Filling in for staff members out of the office when needed.
- Assisting in staff training when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Additional Job Description
Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree and one year work experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 to 4 years work experience.
