Job Description

 To perform diagnostic medical radiographics for the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient and surgery patients.  Ability to utilize all radiographics, fluoroscopic and portable x-ray equipment.

Completion of a formal two-year allied health AMA approved school.  Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be CPR certified.

Additional Job Description

Education:  Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

Work Experience:  5 years for support or 0-2 years for professional
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
