Job Description/Summary:
The Radiology Technologist I performs routine diagnostic radiographs and is responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.
Minimum Training and Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. 0-2 years work experience.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology Work Experience: 0-2 years of radiologic experience. Required License Certification and Registration: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in (CT) within 12 months of hire, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
