Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager reports to the Program Director of MUSC’s Affiliate Services team and collaborates within the MUSC Information Solutions department, following internal processes and frameworks set by the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). This pivotal role focuses on overseeing the successful implementation of technology solutions, particularly Epic Community Connect projects, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and delivering high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar IT implementations, with a strong track record in client-facing project management and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Prior experience with Epic and/or Epic Community Connect is preferred.Entity

Job Description
Project Leadership and Management
· Provide strategic leadership and hands-on project management for Epic Community Connect technology implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering value to stakeholders.
· Acts as a liaison between the project team, clients, and senior management to foster a collaborative work environment.
· Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, including detailed planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
· Lead cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development.
· Manage day-to-day assignments for cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with project management forms, processes, and organizational standards.
· Oversee the analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of projects assigned by the Program Director or other senior leaders.
· Lead project initiation and planning activities, including scope definition, requirements gathering, and baseline establishment using charters, scope statements, and work breakdown structures.
· Proactively manage risks and issues to ensure projects are delivered according to scope. Utilize analytical and problem-solving techniques to ensure strong project execution and attention to detail.
· Execute approved projects to meet customer expectations, deadlines, and budgets by managing stakeholder expectations, project resources, and team members.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
· Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the project. Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
· Utilize change management strategies to manage scope changes, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure smooth transitions during project implementation.
· Ensure customer satisfaction regarding project implementation.
· Build strong relationships with colleagues and system partners to lead the project team to success. Demonstrate self-awareness and provide mentorship to other team members.
· Process Improvement and Reporting
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across projects. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and change requests. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
· Track and report project progress, forecast trends, and provide concise and timely status reporting as required. Define project objectives and develop metrics to measure and report on progress.
· Identify trends and process improvement opportunities across departments. Perform high-level data analysis, including cost/benefit analysis, and work with other managers to achieve efficiencies in project integration.

Additional Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, healthcare, management, or a related field, with five (5) years of project management experience in software deployment or similar technology filed
Experience must include supporting, leading, or coordinating project activities
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required
Preferred management experience leading a team
Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership
Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships
Advanced proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
ServiceNow experience preferred, specifically with the project management module
Demonstrated success in leading projects across all phases of project management, focusing on technology solutions
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, and project change controls
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt quickly to dynamic environments
Experience in building and managing budgets, including budget forecasting
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
