Coordinate the activities and operational procedures for the Center for Clinical Assessment and Teaching (CCAT), including taking part in the preparation and support of all CCAT-sponsored programs and activities, managing EMS software technology, and data entry to facilitate the capture and tracking of departmental programs and events. Job Description
30% E EMS Software
Coordinate the EMS software and technological assets necessary for its operation. Serve as a liaison to EMS with ongoing communication regarding software questions, troubleshooting needs, and recommendations for development. Train faculty, staff, and standardized patients to effectively operate EMS software. Develop and maintain updated EMS training materials for end-users. Provide remote EMS support to faculty, staff, students, and standardized patients engaged in CCAT activities. Ensure properly functioning hardware and software technology and set-up before a scheduled activity. Enter, manage and troubleshoot data in the EMS software system to support educational needs.
25% E CCAT Operations
Assist in administrating all facets of the CCAT clinical teaching and assessment activities. Work in concert with the other CCAT coordinator to prepare and support activities to include recruiting standardized patients to portray patient roles in various departmental educational activities, making reminder telephone calls, and emailing and confirming standardized patient schedules. Provide training materials and training opportunities for Standardized Patients. Develop and publish/email Standardized Patient schedule in advance of educational activities. Stock and set up exam rooms, prepare documentation as needed, time and proctor exam sessions, and offer direction to the students and faculty throughout an exam or activity.
25% E Data Management
Create checklists and schedules in preparation for upcoming activities in CCAT. Use BrightSpace, Excel, Teams, and Box to post, maintain, track student attendance, and communicate information. Suggests and incorporates additional technology software to support ongoing programming needs. Support the Center for Clinical Assessment and Teaching Director in collecting data and preparing relevant and accurate student and departmental performance reports.
15% E Communication
Communicate effectively with curriculum and clerkship program coordinators and directors to collect and prepare program content for scheduled teaching and assessment activities.

Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Associate Dean of the College of Medicine and or Director of the Center for Clinical Assessment and Teaching.
