Job Summary: The Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for clinician-educator faculty positions in downtown Charleston, SC.

Direct patient encounters and tele-psychiatry services may also be included. Desire to work with medical students, residents, and child fellows preferred.

About Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at MUSC:

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division, in concert with other divisions, and via partnership with community organizations, provides a comprehensive spectrum of mental health clinical services for children, adolescents, and families, including primary care consultation, multidisciplinary outpatient services, intensive day treatment, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, and acute hospitalization.

The Division also includes the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, Program Faculty who are frequently recognized at MUSC and nationally for their teaching excellence, and an outstanding portfolio of research, conducted in collaboration with other divisions and departments and spanning neurodevelopment, phenomenology, and treatment. This research includes participation in the NIH sponsored Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study, the nation’s largest-ever study on brain development and child health.

Minimum Requirements: Applicant must hold a terminal degree such as a PhD, MD, DO or related degree. Must be BC/BE in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
