Medical University of South Carolina - Breast Imaging Radiologist
The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its well-regarded Breast Imaging Division
as an Assistant or Associate Professor in a clinician-educator role with a tenure track. The ideal candidate will have a desire to participate in the academic activities
of the division and will lead didactic teaching sessions for residents and medical students as needed. Join seven breast imaging faculty and an academic support
team working hard to provide the best education and patient care possible in Charleston, South Carolina.
Requirements:
Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, be ABR Board-certified and fellowship trained, have experience in all aspects of breast imaging (including
ultrasound and MR) and must be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license to be considered.
About this position:
- Clinical practice located on MUSC’s main campus in downtown Charleston, SC
- Additional coverage at off-site facilities within the Charleston area
- Call coverage for breast imaging only
- Candidates should be able to perform Tomosynthesis, MR and US Guided Breast Biopsy, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
- MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center is an NCI Designated Cancer Center and recipient of the ACR’s Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence accreditation
