This hire will serve and support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. The total joint reconstruction physician will increase patient access to our orthopaedic total joint patient population while also increasing their surgical conversion rate per clinical appointment. Job Description

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine is hiring a Total Joint Reconstruction physician as a faculty member in our total joint division. This hire will serve and support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. The total joint reconstruction physician will increase patient access to our orthopaedic total joint patient population while also increasing their surgical conversion rate per clinical appointment. Strategically, the orthopaedic total joint reconstruction physician will travel to our ambulatory and outreach clinics in South Carolina.

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine has 38 Faculty members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The Department delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every orthopaedic subspecialty. We treat more than 35,000 patients each year with the most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures.

MUSC Minimum Requirements:

M.D. or equivalent
