Job Description Summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in the PhD in Nursing Science Program. We seek a highly motivated individual committed to advancing behavioral health science through research, teaching, and mentorship. The ideal candidate will contribute to the Program’s mission by developing or sustaining a strong program of research, precepting/supervising/mentoring advanced practice nurses and other allied health students, teaching doctoral level coursework, and engaging in scholarly activities. Candidates must have a record of scholarly productivity and will continue to advance their research and scholarship in this role. PhD Program faculty collaborate to ensure equitable teaching, mentorship of students, and evaluation of student outcomes. Service, such as participation in college or university committees, community engagement, or professional organizations, is an integral part of the faculty role and is an expectation in the academic and professional missions of the College of Nursing.Entity

• PhD in a scientific discipline required
• Active clinical licensure
• Record of peer-reviewed publications, funding support, and a focused program of research with potential for NIH funding
• Experience with teaching and mentorship
