Job Description Summary

The Department of Medicine: Division of Cardiology is accepting applications for a non--tenured track faculty position at the rank of Instructor. This position is focused on physiology or molecular biology for the unique interdisciplinary laboratory within the Christie’s Heart and Brain Program. The Program directed by Dr. del Monte, MD, PhD, can provide exposure and training in the newly linked neuro and cardio disciplines.

Job Description

The applicant should have a terminal degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD) with a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral training, and a track record of high quality publications. A record of extramural funded research is preferred but not required.

The position is supported by generous startup funds and laboratory space within the Division of Cardiology. The Chrisie Heart & Brain program program supports a highly collaborative environment and is directed by Dr. Federica del Monte.
