Job Description Summary
The Paczesny laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Senior Scientist (SSII) studying tumor immunology including hematopoietic cell transplantation to treat myeloid malignancies. The major interests of the lab are discovering and validating new biomarkers and immune cells subsets in tumor immunology, generating, and testing in vivo the efficacy of bispecific/trispecific antibodies, generating new cell-based immunotherapies, as well as developing new mechanistic allogeneic and syngeneic in vivo immune models. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead projects using several cutting-edge model systems including hematopoietic cell transplantation and novel xenograft in vivo systems. You will also gain extensive experience and training in hematopoietic cell transplantation biology, acute myeloid malignancies, and pre-clinical study development. The candidate will be expected to have 7+ years of experience in immunology.Entity

Job Description
The Paczesny laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Senior Scientist (SSII) studying tumor immunology including hematopoietic cell transplantation to treat myeloid malignancies. Job Duties:
35% - Develop and lead projects using several cutting-edge in vivo models including hematopoietic cell transplantation and novel xenograft in vivo systems. Each project leading to a presentation at a national meeting as well as manuscript of impact factor > 10. (Crucial)
35% - Identify, propose, and lead novel research experiments weekly while been able to resolve problems and find diverse alternative experiments. Each experiment leading to interpretable tangible weekly data leading to figures/ Table for a manuscript. (Crucial)
25% - Train in hematopoietic cell transplantation biology, and pre-clinical study development building on an already established extensive experience directing resolution of novel and diverse problems in immunology. Similarly, the outcomes will lead to a publishable manuscript - (Essential)
5% - Perform other essential duties as requested. These will include maintain animal colonies, collaborate with DLAR to provide the best animal care, update IACUC and IBC protocols, order supplies for the laboratory. - (Essential)
A Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent with two years postdoctorate experience plus evidence of scholarly activity as demonstrated by at least five first author publications.
