Join our Facilities Team in Charleston, SC

The Medical University of South Carolina is the state's only comprehensive academic medical system, and we are hiring Respiratory Therapists across multiple locations and specialties. For a limited time, we're offering sign-on bonuses of up to $10,000 for respiratory therapists hired in the Tri-County Charleston area after June 1, 2023.

At MUSC, you'll find a challenge on every shift, every day at our three downtown hospitals in Charleston, SC. Work with pediatric or adult populations of varying acuity levels across a wide variety of units:

  • Burn Center
  • Neurology Intensive Care Unit
  • Adult & Pediatric Transplant Centers
  • Adult & Pediatric Level I Trauma Centers
  • 83 bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • ECMO Center of Excellence
  • SMT team for patients with special needs
  • Pulmonary Function & Sleep Medicine
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

The opportunities are endless for Respiratory Therapists at MUSC. Looking for variety? Ask about our increased rates of pay for RT's who rotate between all three hospitals. Maintain your licensure with free Continuing Education Units, and work your way through our clinical ladder program.
