As an integral part of the Hollings Cancer Center, MUSC's Division of Hematology & Oncology specializes in solid tumor oncology, malignant and benign hematology, and bone marrow transplantation. MUSC's Hematology & Oncology Division specializes in a wide range of malignant diseases and blood disorders, and serves as as the primary referral center for solid tumor oncology, hematology (both malignant and benign), and bone marrow transplantation across South Carolina. As part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care in these critical areas. Division faculty members see patients at Hollings Cancer Center, MUSC Medical University Hospital, Ashley River Tower, and the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, and community practice hem/onc physicians provide world-class cancer care, research, and education services across the state through the Hollings Cancer Network.
The MUSC Hematology & Oncology Fellowship Program, established in 1986, is the only one of its kind in South Carolina. Fully integrated with the clinical and translational research initiatives at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, the program offers fellows comprehensive training in outpatient, inpatient, and consultative medical oncology, as well as both benign and malignant hematology, including autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. As a faculty member in the division, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and mentor fellows, participate in teaching assignments, and contribute to the development of the next generation of hematology and oncology specialists.
