Job Description Summary

MUSC’s Office of Communications and Marketing is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Brand Manager to join the brand team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Brand Strategy and play a key role in shaping and executing brand strategies while overseeing the management and optimization of our digital asset system.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will combine strategic brand management expertise with an understanding of digital asset management (DAM) to ensure that our brand and assets meet the needs of the enterprise. The digital content you manage will be used by the entire enterprise to extend and amplify the brand, creating a cohesive and impactful presence in all user and partner interactions. This is an in-person position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or related field. Additional certifications in brand or digital asset management are a plus.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience, including 5+ years of experience in Brand Management. or a related field. Experience with DAM systems (Canto preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of brand strategy, messaging, and market trends.
    • Proficient with creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office).
    • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and design quality.
    • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions.
    • Familiarity with analytics tools and dashboards.
