Job Description
The Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist reports to the Oncology Pharmacy Manager. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize the delivery of care of oncology patients, ensuring relevant safety, regulatory, certification and/or accreditation standards are maintained, and utilize specialized knowledge of anti-cancer therapy, administration, symptom management, and supportive care, while providing education to patients and their families.
Will be providing clinical support for Kershaw oncology services, as well as coverage for other oncology clinical needs in Charleston.
PGY2 Oncology residency training preferred.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is requiredIf you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
