Job Description Summary

The Corporate Finance Accountant I will report directly to the Corporate Finance Manager and its respective functional role. This position requires the ability to analyze multiple aspects of certain balance sheet accounts, including monthly reconciliation and processing accounting transactions. This role will contribute to the monthly finance close process, the annual year-end audit as well as other administrative functions of the department.

The Corporate Finance Accountant I will report directly to the Corporate Finance Manager and its respective functional role. This position requires the ability to analyze multiple aspects of certain balance sheet accounts, including monthly reconciliation and processing accounting transactions.  This role will contribute to the monthly finance close process, the annual year-end audit as well as other administrative functions of the department.

Additional Job Description

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and two (2) years work experience in a business-related field such as accounting, business, audit or finance.  Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills’ ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Outlook software; Microsoft Power Point and Adobe Acrobat software is a plus. 

Preferred:  A bachelor’s degree in accounting with hospital/healthcare based work experience; MBA, CHFP, or CPA designation a plus.
