Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to drive high-quality, safe, and patient-centered nursing care across all inpatient and outpatient service lines.
Oversee nursing operations, staffing, and financial performance to ensure efficiency, productivity, and optimal resource utilization.
Lead nursing quality initiatives and evidence-based practice integration to achieve superior patient outcomes and meet or exceed regulatory and accreditation standards.
Partner with the Divisional Chief Nursing Officer, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement organizational strategies, goals, and performance improvement plans.
Mentor and develop nursing leaders and staff to build a strong pipeline for future leadership roles.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
Actively engage in community and professional partnerships to enhance the hospital’s reputation and attract top nursing talent.

Additional Job Description
Required Education:
Master’s degree in Nursing; or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; or Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing budgets, and improving clinical outcomes.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or an approved compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Leadership certification (e.g., NE-BC, NEA-BC, CENP) preferred.
