What You’ll Do

As the Infusion & Oncology RN Manager, you’ll serve as the central hub for patient care coordination — helping patients navigate diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and supportive care with confidence and continuity.

You will:

  • Coordinate all clinical care within the oncology clinic to maximize:
    • Patient safety
    • Quality outcomes
    • Patient and staff satisfaction
  • Utilize the nursing process:
    • Assessment
    • Diagnosis
    • Planning
    • Implementation
    • Evaluation
  • Lead and support:
    • EPIC In Basket communication
    • Order entry coordination
    • Patient education and individualized care plans
    • Appointment coordination and follow-up
    • Cross-service transitions including:
      • Radiation Oncology
      • Surgery
      • Chemotherapy
      • Palliative Care
      • Survivorship services
  • Provide hands-on clinical support including:
    • Patient triage
    • Medication administration
    • Assisting with procedures
    • Ongoing care coordination during clinic visits
  • Foster a culture built on:
    • Teamwork
    • Respect
    • Accountability
    • Compassionate excellence

Additional Job Description

Experience

  • Previous oncology nursing experience preferred

  • Infusion nursing experience strongly preferred

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active RN licensure with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state (required)

  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (required or must be obtained)

  • Current BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
